WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF ENTERING THE SITE AS A MEMBER INSTEAD OF A GUEST
As a guest you can only browse member profiles. In order to reply to messages you need to become a member, Members also have their own mailbox, full interaction with other members, and other benefits.

Females
Standard Members: are members with no picture & with no personal details entered in their profile. (cannot send or read messages and smiles and go to bottom of a search listing).
Silver Members: are members with picture but with no personal details entered in their profile. (can send & receive messages or smiles and show higher in a search listing).
Gold Members: are members with pictures and complete personal details entered in their profile, regarded as genuine people seeking a true relationship. (can send & receive unlimited messages or smiles and show highest in a search listing).
Please note: To qualify for free female membership you need to upload genuine pictures of yourself, Images of anything other than your personal pictures will be deleted & your membership will be downgraded to standard. (Not able to send or read messages)

UPLOADING IMAGES
To upload image please follow these instructions, please make sure your pictures are resized to approx 50 – 100kb and saved in a folder before you try to upload them, login with your username and password, go to members panel and select add/update images button, from here select image 1 click browse to find the folder containing your pictures select one picture and click upload button, we suggest using a close up face shot for your primary picture (image 1) repeat the process for images 2-5. If you have followed the instructions all your pictures should now show correctly in your slide show.
Important, For pictures to show correctly in slide show, take image Horizontal not vertical. Please ensure your pictures have recently been taken and show you as you are now. This reflects the quality and integrity of Friendship2Romance.com
Your pictures should be supplied in the following formats (jpg, jpeg, gif) and approximately 50-100 kb in size before uploading them (approximately 640x480pixels), if you cannot change the size of your pictures or you are having difficulty with the process then please e-mail the pictures to us at admin@friendship2romance.com we will change the size for you and e-mail them back within 24 hrs.

CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
Your subscription with Friendship2Romance.com is set to auto renew at the end of your subscription period. If you wish to cancel your subscription before the renewal date please follow these instructions.
Go to paypal at www.paypal.com or www.paypal.co.uk and login. Select my account, history, in the show box select subscriptions, select within the past year & click search. You will see your subscription and status active, click details, this will then show you details of the subscription, at the bottom of the page select cancel subscription then confirm cancel subscription.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR PROFILE
If you wish to delete/remove your profile from our database, please send us your username and e-mail address. We would also be happy to receive feedback on why you wish to be removed, maybe it's because you have already found the partner of your dreams, if so please let us know. - Our web site allows you to remain anonymous to other users until such time that you feel comfortable and/or ready to provide contact information to other users.
- We have designed the system so that you can include and show your telephone numbers in your profile, however they do not show by default this is purely at your own discretion, they can be turned on or off in your member’s panel, only you can do this, never give anyone your username and password information.
- Only provide your contact information to another user when your gut feeling or intuition tells you this is someone you can trust. It is also advisable to obtain a personal disclosure of the person you are interested in, this way you can have more proof that the person is genuine and sincere.
- Set up an e-mail account only for the usage of online dating, this makes it easy to quarantine or isolate any unwanted mail.
- Be very careful and keep your passwords confidential, make sure they are not easy to guess.
Avoiding Possible Problems
- Ask many questions when communicating, find out as much as possible about the person, and be alert for inconsistencies or any request for money. If you are suspicious of anything make notes and include the name, contact details, time and date.
- If you become suspicious of a person or if someone asks you for money, use common sense and then report the situation to us by using the contact us form.
- We do not certify the identity of a member or validate the information that they submit on a profile. Although we do take steps to analyse and eliminate any suspect members, it is not possible to be 100% sure that all members will be honest and trustworthy when dealing with other members. Be alert at all times and use common sense when communicating with other members.
- NEVER send money to anyone who you meet online, in particular to anyone you have not met in person.
Before you meet
- Find out as much as possible about the person you are communicating with before you meet them in person. Communicate regularly and extensively using e-mail, instant messaging or chat prior to calling the other person. Keep proof of e-mails pictures, phone bills etc and document as much information as possible of the person, you can then reflect back on any information they gave you. Do not disclose your personal contact information or phone number until you feel comfortable to do so.
- Try and request multiple photos of the person you are communicating with. Ask to see photos of the person in a variety of situations and at different times in their life. Also try to find out where they have lived, different addresses with dates, this will help to determine credibility of the person and can be useful when trying to understand more about that person, it is also good information to keep should something go wrong.
- When you decide to meet face to face, pick a public place and take a friend with you, if the person you are meeting is sincere they will not feel uneasy that you bring a friend on the first date.
While dating
- Take your time to get to know the person with whom you are communicating. Proceed one step at a time and at your own pace, there is no rush, let things develop slowly, and remember as the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait.
- If dating a person located in a foreign country, be aware of cultural differences, take the time to learn the culture and try to understand the other person’s expectations about the relationship. This means that you can usually seek help for problems related to domestic violence while maintaining your legal right to remain in the country.
- In many countries such as the USA, UK, Australia etc Divorce courts will consider the equitable distribution of all marital assets based on a variety of factors. You should therefore consider how you may be affected in the event of a divorce.
